We are thrilled to announce our 2025 Horicon Summer School lineup!
All summer school courses can be found at the link below. Please click on “Elementary” for students entering grades 1-5 and “Middle-High School” for students entering grades 6-12. Most non-credit classes in our summer school program will run June 2-19, Monday through Thursday.
-
Elementary math or reading skills classes are open BY INVITATION ONLY. Please only sign up for these classes if you have received an invitation from Mrs. Sawyer.
-
Students interested in (or needing) high school credit recovery should look for an email from Mrs. DeZeeuw. You can sign up for these classes in the summer school catalog (as described above). Credit Recovery classes run June 2-26.
All summer school courses are offered on a first-come, first-served basis so be sure to register your child(ren) ASAP! If classes are full, you can select to be added to a waiting list.
VERY IMPORTANT:
- In this system, you must create an account (unless you made one last year).
- After you create your account or add courses to your cart, you’ll add your child(ren) as participants and you will be the “payer.” The R-School system will prompt you as you go.
- You MUST update your contact information, as well as the grade your student is entering. PLEASE update this information for the R-School system. It is not linked to Power School.
Skills and Drills
Skills and Drills will be offered again in the afternoons. This will be an engaging and active opportunity for students in grades 3-5 and 6-8 to learn more about various sports while they work with our teachers, coaches, and student volunteers. These will be offered in the afternoons so that students are able to spend all day at summer school if they choose!
If you are a student participating in summer band with Mr. Ferron or summer Agriculture experiences with Mrs. Kern, please contact those teachers directly. It will still count for summer school participation but will be scheduled separately. Busing is not provided for these opportunities.

Driver's Education
Please see the middle/high school course offers to sign up for Driver's Education if your child is 14.5 or older. Driver's Education runs June 2-26.
Transportation
The transportation (busing) is not available for the summer school program.
Breakfast and Lunch
Once again, the Horicon Nutrition Department will be offering summer meals to anyone 18 and under, June 2-19. Breakfast will run from 7:30-8:00 a.m. in the cafeteria. New this year, lunch will be available "to-go". Students will be handed a lunch as they leave at 12:00 p.m. Students will be picked up in the front of school.
We will also be offering a 3-day meal pick up for all children 18 and under for the weekend, starting June 5. Please watch for sign-up and menus. These meals will be available to pick up in the front of the school starting at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 12, and 19.
7-day meal pick-ups are available starting June 26. Families must sign up. Click HERE to sign up for meal pickups.
